Hey guys, Sandblast rally is coming up Feb 4th!  If anyone needs a break from the 2 days of winter we have had this year its a good race to run.  Bit more than a harescramble but running a rally course on a bike is a good time.  If you want to just spectate volunteering is a good way to get closer to the action.  They can always use more help and you get a free party out of it (lots of beer and food). How was the Sanblast?  Did you have rain?

Hey Rick, just a little bit.  It sprinkled at the start for a while, but nothing like previous years.  A AA enduro guy on a 690 was by far the fastest guy there but he ended up getting a speeding ticket during a transit (58 in a 35) so he got a hefty 10 min penalty which killed his time.  Sarah's engine decided to give up after stage 2 unfortunately so her day ended early.  She also had a nasty get off at ~45mph too. ( )  Cousin Aaron got 2nd overall and first in his class on his 950 super enduro.  I placed 5th overall and 3rd in my class on the 400.  The race was a ton of fun!

It looks like a ton of fun. I wanted to try out the one at black river but why is the entry 300 dollars? That sounds really steep. What does it include? Just entry? Does your bike have to be street legal?

Looks like a good time!  That was a nice get off!  It's pretty cool that you can read the speedo during the crash!

Thanks for the update, that crash looked pretty scary.  Hats off to Sarah, she didn't waste anytime getting back on the bike.  Nice going to all three of you!!
