L/F gas tank
« on: January 22, 2015, 11:31:46 am »
05 ktm 525 exc
Looking for a 4 gal tank that doesn't have the tall filler neck/ball buster.
Lmk if you come across anything. I'm having a hard time finding one

Id also like a used/cheaper 3.2-3.6 for yz250. The 2 gallon would be cutting it way too close on a open course for 2 hours

I hate to run a larger tank but have a feeling I may have to, eh?

Chris may want to just becuase he wants to do his 4:45 in one go. Tim your tank should be good for 2 hours. Mine goes dry at 40 miles. The 250x used to go 65 :(

why not just stop and refill?  That takes maybe a minute, in a 4:45 stretch I can't imagine it's gonna matter much.

Because I don't want to. I hate stopping when I ride. The bigger tank is also for other rides as well

20oz wont get you too far.. Better throw a couple 40's in there in case you get stuck on the side of the trail.. lol
