I would think a spark arrestor would be required or at the very least you'd want one.

Spark arrestors are not required.  It is a closed course event in a relatively damp area.  Does CNYOA check for spark arrestors at their rut-fests?  I am not sure how this event would be any different.

What a great and fun event today!  Except for that guy in the afternoon and passed me and yelled "Ski-Doo Sucks!!!"

There are 2 more events this year in this series:

- September 22 in Harpursville, NY
- October 21 in Berkshire, NY

Lol Great event.  I had never done a sprint enduro before.  Awesome format.  Trails were well laid out.  The hill at the end of loop two was sweet.

Some guys at yesterday's Sprint Enduro were saying how much MORE fun a Sprint Enduro is than a CNYOA Rut-fest (especially the recent Speedsville Event).

I have a hard time understanding why a crappy CNYOA event can pull 500 to 600 riders whereas yesterday's event only pulled 111 riders.  Weird.

part of it may be the perception that enduros require a street legal bike and an understanding of time keeping nonsense.

Results have me getting 2nd in 250B!  Pretty happy about that, as I have not placed well in anything in a couple years.  Got smoked by a kid on a mini who did both races!
