This is why I have a broke down retard chariot and not a bike ;)

HAHA scum bags.  Did he ride the bike to and from his house for people to know he had it in his shed? Or did he pull it out and load it up and leave when he was using it?
I'm curious on how these scum bags find all the shit they are stealing.

wow Not even sure where to start on this post.  No matter how much you twist it the down state tards are responsible for holding back a tremendous amount of income. Taxes, fees, registrations, tickets etc.  That being said Matt hit the nail on the head about needing lobbyists and organization.

Inland Maine the biggest tourist attraction is now atv and sxs riding.  Riders come from out of state and in state.  You know what that does?  Support tourism that surely drives the economy!  A trail system in ny state could be quickly be set up upstate and in the southern tier.  This brings in lots of tax dollars and registration fees.

You know what all these taxes and registrations pay for?  Police yes to help control the quad tards.  Yes itís a fact it needs to happen.  This happens on snowmobiles also if the cops werenít around Larry, Darrell and their drunk brother Darrell would be riding around drunk with loud pipes.

That being said if I had land near an atv trail system I most likely would not want a trail on my land near my residence.

For further reference look at WV how Hatfield McCoy has boosted the economy in many poverty stricken areas.  Many of the providences up north have well organized trail systems also that bring in lots of $$$.

Surely lots of money to be made by NY state the liberal, eco tree huggers and the lack of organization stands in the way.

NYSSA every year fights tree huggers trying to close trails in forests around NY state.  Every year NYSSA has to fight crooked Cuomo from sweeping trail fund money into his general fund.  It is good the NYSSA has lawyers, lobbyists and has an organized base.

Also, side-by-sideĎs are kind of in legal limbo in New York and have been for years. Most of them are over 1000 pounds so they cannot be registered as an ATV. The state doesnít seem to want to do anything about this because every time it comes up the laws is not changed.

I personally am OK with that since quads make the trails wide enough already. And they keep getting bigger and wider.

1000cc machines and 4 seaters are a no go in ny for my state registration.  Most 2 seaters can be registered.  Not sure what thatís worth though in my state.

Iím not buying one anytime soon so really not a concern.  I just see myself changing and had a blast a couple weeks ago driving around a buddies 1000 rzr eps.  Riding across his rutted farm field like I was riding in a Cadillac.  Wife even enjoyed driving it around.

A guy down the road has a nice ranger brand new this past spring.  I agree they are nice also.

They just need to work on battery life.  It is currently at 90 minutes or less doing moto duty and 90 to 150 minutes trail riding.

And what was the price tag?  Yes to lazy to google!
$15k. Cheaper than those gay SxS

I'll have lots of fun in a gay sxs for more then 90 minutes and be able to bring my family with me.  Not saying I'm buying one but I'm not against buying one.  They are so family friendly and that is my most important concern now days not getting away from my family.

Cato was cancellled, but the weather for Palmyra looks good!  Our PR guy has been promoting the heck out of this thing so there should be good attendance.

But not a single ad in the Craig's List Motorcycle Classifieds.

For the Monkey Butt, I found that posting a simple event ad in the Craig's List Motorcycle Classifieds pulls in a lot of riders (and spectators).

I am hoping they get good weather for this event!

Social media is often only good if you are previously linked or connected to location/website promoting/advertising.  (paid advertising excluded but I don't think that is what we are talking about!)

Matt has a very good point by advertising in a location that people just browse on a regular basis that aren't already connected to the moto community.  How you gonna get the massive amount of quad riders without craigslist!

I'll be honest these bikes are of interest to me.  I am less interested these days of trying to smash myself on tight single track or air out a big jump on an MX track.  Racing is not what I am looking for and while hard core hero and enduro sections are cool i'm not sure that is what I am looking to do now days either.

Riding some logging roads, atv trails and some flowing trails is what is of interest to me.  I know I might be a pussy for not wanting try the hardest trails or hit the MX track but that is where I am at in my life.  About a year now with no full sized bike in my garage I need to figure out a direction or get a SXS! :o

Knee replacement?

Hoping for a speedy recovery so that I can ski with my daughter this winter.

And ride the snow quad as we are due for a good winter!
